Escentric Molecules is a British fragrance brand created in 2006 by perfumer Geza Schoen, in collaboration with the British marketing and branding company "This Company" and the design firm "Me Company," known for their work on Björk's CD jackets.

The brand name derives from "eccentric," meaning unconventional or peculiar, signifying "unconventional scent molecules that defy convention."

Geza Schoen spent 12 years at the renowned German fragrance company "Hermann & Reimer," where he perfumed hit products such as Diesel's "D." He later became independent, creating numerous fragrances sold in the UK and establishing himself as one of Europe's most respected perfumers.

While most fragrances are typically composed of 50 to nearly 200 scent ingredients, Escentric Molecules released "Molecule01," a revolutionary and unprecedented move in the fragrance industry, using only a single synthetic aroma compound: "Iso E Super – a synthetic amber aroma compound developed by IFF that does not exist in nature." It has gained immense popularity among both men and women overseas, praised for its pheromone-like effect that captivates those nearby.
