From La Mer, the long-awaited men's exclusive set “Men's Skin Essentials” arrives | DE LA MER
DE LA MER
A Highly Anticipated Limited Edition Set for Men is Here!
Introducing "Men's Skin Essentials"
DE LA MER's iconic cream, Crème de la Mer, gained recognition among Japanese men and rapidly spread after Masafumi Suzuki, the editor-in-chief of "ENGINE" magazine (currently editor-in-chief of "GQ"), wrote a user experience report for the publication. DE LA MER opened up a world of adult male grooming, where expensive creams are used generously, making skincare a daily ritual. Now, the highly anticipated limited edition set for men, "Men's Skin Essentials," will be available at select stores starting Friday, September 21st.

Experience the "Miracle Broth™," Said to Harness the Life Energy of the Sea, on Your Skin
DE LA MER is a popular brand, almost synonymous with luxury cream, but the developer of "Crème de la Mer" was, in fact, a man.
Max Huber, an aerospace physicist, suffered severe burns to his entire face in an experimental accident. Despite undergoing over 100 treatments from doctors and cosmetic professionals, he did not achieve the results he desired. This spurred him to action, transforming his home garage into a laboratory where he dedicated himself to self-treatment.
Huber, deeply knowledgeable about the effects of the sea and seaweed, decided to combine them with ancient fermentation techniques to create a cream. After numerous failures, 12 years after beginning his research and repeating 6,000 experiments, "Crème de la Mer" finally saw the light of day.
His burn scars gradually healed, dryness and tightness disappeared, and his skin regained its softness and elasticity. Gaining confidence, Huber began sharing the special cream with friends and neighbors. In a very short time, people noticed a reduction in wrinkles and pores, refined texture, and restored moisture and smoothness, marveling at the effects of "Crème de la Mer."
After Huber's passing, Leonard Lauder, son of Estée Lauder, acquired the "Crème de la Mer" business. The bio-fermentation process developed by Huber was a cutting-edge technology that astonished the research and development team at the Lauder company.
Seaweed harvested from the Pacific Ocean is placed in a tank, and several types of vitamins, minerals, and citrus extracts are added. This mixture is bio-fermented over three to four months. During this fermentation process, experiments are conducted with meticulous care, such as maintaining a constant room temperature and playing sounds, akin to prenatal education. Eventually, a clear essence was extracted from the fermented liquid. This marked the birth of "Miracle Broth™," said to harness the life energy of the sea.
By incorporating "Lime Tea," rich in a variety of vitamins, the skin is protected from a wide range of external aggressors. With its potent antioxidant and protective properties, the skin is healed, completing the creation of "Crème de la Mer."
What sets "Crème de la Mer" apart from mere moisturizers is not just its ingredients, but the "Miracle Broth™" with its meticulously developed extraction method, born from Max Huber's quest to heal his own severe burns.
The newly released "Men's Skin Essentials" offers a refreshing feel while providing ample hydration, presenting an advantageous lineup. It is a special set designed to heal and condition men's skin, which has been exposed to the summer sun.
