Beautifully Expressing the Trend: "Layered Pink, Emphasizing Under the Eyes"

The inspiration is disco pink. "A youthful, rebellious look that strongly exudes confidence. Energy shines through the makeup, radiating within the girls, with eyes having a slightly rock-and-roll feel," says designer Phillip Lim. His inspiration was born from Blondie's Deborah Harry.

The look is soft yet impactful, with multifaceted appeal. "This look is created through multiple layers," says Lisa Butler. The makeup features edgy eyes, contrasted with healthy, radiant skin. Lips are a soft, sheer pink, embodying an elegant punk-rock princess. It perfectly captures Phillip Lim's vision.

Apply NARS Sheer Glow Foundation to the center of the face, blending outwards.
Cover any areas of concern with NARS Concealer Stick.
Apply NARS The Multiple 1516 (Riviera) to the cheeks, blending upwards towards the temples.

<Eyes>
Apply NARS The Multiple 1516 (Riviera) all over the eyelids.
Apply NARS Single Eyeshadow 2044 (Nymphea) all over the lids, blending towards the brow.
Add depth and emphasis by applying NARS Duo Eyeshadow Charade (discontinued in Japan) in a smoky plum to the crease.
Apply NARS Single Eyeshadow 2059 (Abyssinia) to the inner corners of the eyes and along the brow arch.
Define the outer lash line with NARS Eyeliner Pencil 8005 (London).
Blend with NARS Single Eyeshadow 2073 (Coconut Grove/Fall 2010 New Color).
Curl lashes with an eyelash curler, then apply NARS Larger Than Life Volumizing Mascara twice to finish.
