NARS Cosmetics, known for its modern, innovative, and iconic color range, has unveiled its first-ever short film, "Pure Matte: Infinite Reflections."

Model Heather Marks Stars in the Film!

The short film "Pure Matte: Infinite Reflections" powerfully and artistically expresses the power and allure of strong, matte lips, mirroring NARS' own journey that began 16 years ago with 12 lipsticks. Geometric use of mirrors creates a unique cinematic atmosphere.

François Nars, founder and creative director of NARS, commented, "I've always drawn inspiration from film. It felt natural to promote the launch of Pure Matte Lipstick with a sexy, modern short film."

Director Terry Richardson created a bold and vibrant film based on François Nars' original Pure Matte campaign images. "I wanted to combine two essences of NARS: the graphic quality that is a hallmark of the brand, and its iconic allure," he said.

Model Heather Marks, elegantly radiant in Gucci, shines naturally. Francelle Daly, newly appointed as NARS' National Makeup Artist, created a makeup look emphasizing bold, powerful lips under François' direction. "The set enveloped Heather Marks in countless reflections, making it feel like a true 3D world. With everything else kept simple, I wanted to highlight the lips and express them through color and texture," Daly shared.

Polish electroacoustic musician Michal Jacaszek composed new music for the film.

A special "Pure Matte" tab has been added to NARS' Facebook page (facebook.com/narscosmetics), where viewers can watch the film, behind-the-scenes footage, and other exclusive content, as well as participate in quizzes, which has also become a talking point.
