GUCCI | Japan-Exclusive Interlocking Watch Unveiled Gallery

Tamamushi-nuri is a lacquerware originating in Sendai, developed with patented technology by the National Research Institute for Industrial Arts, and designated a traditional craft of Miyagi Prefecture.
Twenty percent of the sales from this watch will be donated through Sendai City to support reconstruction in the cultural and arts sector.
Named "Tamamushi-nuri" for the iridescent colors and luster resembling a jewel beetle's wings, created through a unique technique of scattering silver powder and applying transparent lacquer mixed with dyes.
