The Avantgarde test car comes standard with the AMG Sports Package, featuring 18-inch AMG 5-twin-spoke alloy wheels.
The AMG Sports Package also features decorative elements on the rear bumper resembling slits.

Mercedes-Benz's latest 2.0-liter 4-cylinder engine with Lean Burn control. It produces 155 kW (211 ps) at 5,500 rpm and 350 Nm (35.7 kgm) of torque from 1,200-4,000 rpm, achieving 15.5 km/L in the JC08 cycle.
On the highway, Distronic Plus maintains a set distance from the vehicle ahead or follows lane markings, even steering automatically, creating a near-autonomous driving experience. Distronic Plus can be immediately disengaged by applying the brakes.
The column stalks control the turn signals (upper) and Distronic Plus settings (lower).
Some test cars were equipped with the Sonic Design audio system.

The hybrid battery is located to the right of the engine bay. Despite its compact size, this placement means the hybrid model is only available in left-hand drive.
With the battery in the engine compartment, trunk capacity is 505 liters, nearly the same as the standard model's 531 liters. The 60:40 split-folding rear seats can also be lowered for extended cargo space.
