Audemars Piguet has released the "Royal Oak Offshore Diver" 42mm, a limited edition of 300 pieces, with a先行発売 in Japan. This watch features a black and white bi-color design for high legibility and a sophisticated atmosphere, and its interchangeable strap system allows for easy strap changes to suit any occasion.

Audemars Piguet has announced the "Royal Oak Offshore Diver" 42mm, a limited edition of 300 pieces. Like the three diver models released in 2021, this piece is equipped with the latest in-house automatic movement, Calibre 4308, and features an interchangeable strap system.

The new calibre in this model boasts a seconds display, instant jump date, and a patented setting mechanism, enhancing the stability and accuracy of the watch during adjustments. Through the sapphire caseback, one can admire the refined finishing of components such as Côtes de Genève, hairline, and circular graining, as well as the calibre's black-finished 22K pink gold oscillating weight, unique to this collection.

Furthermore, the movement offers a power reserve of approximately 60 hours, making it ideal not only for underwater exploration up to 300 meters but also for various outdoor activities on land. The diving scale on the dial's rotating inner bezel is activated by a unidirectional click mechanism linked to the crown at 10 o'clock.

What sets this limited edition apart is its sophisticated black and white bi-color design. The 18K white gold case is paired with a black ceramic bezel and matching crowns at 3 and 10 o'clock. The beautifully hand-finished case, combining satin-brushed and polished surfaces, and the refined black "Mega Tapisserie" dial are adorned with lustrous 18K white gold hour markers and hands. The black rotating diving scale features beige 15-minute zones and Arabic numerals, accentuating the contrast.

To ensure optimal legibility even in deep water, the dial features two sizes of hour markers. The longer markers indicate the quarters (with the exception of the 15-minute marker, which is the date window), while the shorter, rectangular markers denote the five-minute intervals. The 18K white gold hour markers and Royal Oak hands, treated with luminescent material, are easily readable in low-light conditions. At 12 o'clock, the larger applied gold AP initials logo replaces the traditional long signature, emphasizing a sportier style.

The strap can be easily changed with a simple click thanks to the interchangeable strap system, directly integrated with the buckle and case studs. A black rubber strap, suitable for outdoor activities, is included along with a beige calfskin strap, allowing for customization to match the occasion.
