Japan-Exclusive Models Harmonizing Sodalite, Malachite, and Gold
The Japan-exclusive models, housed in 41mm cases, are available in two variations, each featuring a dial made from either sodalite or malachite.
The sodalite dial model is paired with an 18K white gold case. The white calcite stripes running through the stone harmonize with the baguette-cut diamond hour markers. The inner bezel and rubber strap also feature a deep blue hue, creating an elegant two-tone aesthetic. Sodalite, known as the "poet's stone," is a natural mineral said to symbolize creativity and artistic expression.
The malachite dial model, in contrast, is paired with an 18K yellow gold case. Baguette-cut diamond hour markers and yellow gold hands are set against a deep green dial characterized by its swirling patterns and subtle shading. The inner bezel and strap match the dial's color, creating a striking contrast with the case. Malachite, symbolizing transformation and growth, resonates deeply with the collection's concept.
Both models are powered by the Manufacture's automatic Caliber 4309. The sapphire case back offers a view of the rotor, which complements the case color.
Crafting dials from natural stone requires exceptional skill. Thinly sliced stone is meticulously polished and then secured to the dial plate, preserving its color and luster. Due to the nature of the material, no two dials are exactly alike.
Japan-First Release Model Adorned with Vibrant Turquoise
The Japan-first release model features a 38mm case. Its visual impact is amplified by the striking turquoise blue stone dial paired with an 18K white gold case. The unique matrix pattern etched into the dial is distinct on each piece, imbuing it with individual character.
The inner bezel and textile-effect rubber strap are unified in the same color, while the white gold hands and rhodium-toned hour markers contribute to a stylish overall appearance. A turquoise blue alligator strap is also included. The movement is Caliber 5909, and the rhodium-colored rotor's decoration can be admired through the sapphire case back.
This model, adorned with turquoise—a stone historically associated with protection and good fortune—will be first released in Japan in May 2026, with a global rollout planned for July of the same year.
The vibrant colors of the natural stone dials in all three models are perfectly suited for the transition from spring to summer. These limited editions, which shine brilliantly under warm sunlight, are sure to add a distinctive touch of color to your new season wardrobe.

Frequently Asked Questions About Audemars Piguet Watches
Q. Please tell me about the brand history of Audemars Piguet.
Audemars Piguet was founded in 1875 in Le Brassus, in Switzerland's renowned Vallée de Joux watchmaking region, by Jules-Louis Audemars and Edward-Auguste Piguet. For over 150 years, it has continued as an independent family-run manufacturer, managed by descendants of both families. In 1972, the company launched the Royal Oak, designed by Gérald Genta, pioneering the market for sporty luxury watches. Audemars Piguet is also renowned for its development of highly complex movements and is globally recognized as a leading independent Swiss luxury watch brand.
Q. What was the background behind the development of the "CODE 11.59 by Audemars Piguet" collection?
CODE 11.59 by Audemars Piguet is a new collection launched by Audemars Piguet in 2019, the first in approximately a quarter of a century. "CODE" signifies the principles and philosophy Audemars Piguet upholds in watchmaking, while "11.59" represents one minute before midnight, the moment just before a new day begins. This naming reflects the brand's commitment to continuous evolution. The case features a unique multi-layered structure, characterized by a complex design that combines an octagonal middle case within a round case, topped by a cushion-shaped bezel. The Japan-exclusive and Japan-first release models continue this legacy of innovation within the collection.
Q. What is the value of natural stone dials?
The primary appeal of natural stone dials lies in their unique patterns; no two are ever identical, even when made from the same material. The sodalite, malachite, and turquoise used in these Japan-market models are all natural minerals with distinct hues and intricate veining, each dial bearing a unique expression shaped by geological time. Furthermore, the rarity is enhanced by the advanced polishing and processing techniques required to transform these natural stones into precise watch dials, highlighting the value of artisanal craftsmanship.
