Sony has unveiled a new collaboration model between SEIKO and its hybrid smartwatch "wena™ wrist" series, produced by Yoshikage Kajiwara of LOWERCASE. Available in limited quantities starting Saturday, November 23, 2019, at Sony Stores, Sony's e-commerce site "First Flight," and the e-commerce sites of major electronics retailers, pre-orders are now open.

Sony has released the "seiko wena wrist pro Mechanical set -LOWERCASE Edition-" as a new model in the "wena™ wrist" hybrid smartwatch series, a collaboration with SEIKO.

This marks the second collaboration model between "wena™ wrist," the first smartwatch to integrate its functions into the watchband, and the SEIKO brand, boasting over 130 years of history and a legacy of numerous "world firsts." The design supervision was handled by Yoshikage Kajiwara of LOWERCASE, known for pioneering cross-industry collaborations.

Based on SEIKO's classic, quintessential style, the design captures the allure of a fashion item through a vintage arrangement. It's a special model that expresses the unexpectedness of being a smartwatch while embodying the appearance of the golden age of mechanical watches. Lumibrite, evoking a sense of aging, is applied to the hands and indices for a more nostalgic expression. The see-through case back is printed with "LOWERCASE LIMITED EDITION," the LOWERCASE logo, and the edition number.

Available in two colors, Silver and Premium Black, each in a limited run of 300 units. These models will be sold in limited quantities starting Saturday, November 23, 2019, at Sony Stores, Sony's e-commerce site "First Flight," and the e-commerce sites of major electronics retailers.
