Citizen Attesa Synchronizes with the Nissan Fairlady Z: A Collaboration Realized.

The first in a series of limited edition models celebrating 35 years of Attesa. A collaboration watch capturing the dynamic spirit of the Nissan Fairlady Z.

Citizen is launching two collaboration models with the Nissan Fairlady Z, sold by Nissan Motor Co., Ltd., on March 10, 2022. These are the first of two limited edition releases celebrating the 35th anniversary of the "CITIZEN ATTESA" brand, which supports globally active businessmen. Pre-orders are currently being accepted.

Vibrant yellow and blue accents express the Fairlady Z's distinctive features throughout.

"Citizen Attesa" launched in 1987, and 2022 marks its 35th anniversary. To celebrate this milestone year, two collaboration models with the "Nissan Fairlady Z" have been released as the first limited edition series.
The spirit of "Citizen Attesa's" continuous innovation, advanced technology, and dedication to every second aligns perfectly with the Fairlady Z's history of challenges, its refined sports car engineering, and its uncompromising commitment to excellence, making this collaboration a reality.

The vehicle shown in the image is the NISSAN Z or Fairlady Z Prototype, and may differ in some aspects from the Japanese specifications.
Both models are based on the "Citizen Attesa" ACT Line Eco-Drive radio-controlled watch, incorporating details from the new Fairlady Z to express the allure of Japan's iconic sports car. The "AT8185-89E," featuring yellow accents inspired by the Fairlady Z's "Ikazuchi Yellow" body color, unifies the case, band, dial, hour and minute hands, and indices in black. Its design evokes the dynamic speed of lightning striking through the darkness. The dial incorporates a dot pattern actually used on the seats of the special edition car.
The "AT8185-97E," with accents inspired by the new "Seiran Blue" body color, presents a cool impression with a matte black dial reminiscent of highway asphalt, accented by silver hour and minute hands and indices.
Both models feature fonts used on the Fairlady Z's instrument panel for each numeral. They also include a red second hand inspired by the tachometer's red zone, and the "Z" logo is engraved on the crown, with the "NISSAN" logo on the case back.

Both models are powered by Eco-Drive, eliminating the need for regular battery replacements. They also automatically receive standard radio waves from four areas (Japan, China, the US, and Europe), so manual adjustments for time and calendar are unnecessary. Furthermore, with a simple turn of the crown, they can display the time and calendar for 26 cities worldwide. The case and band, made of highly durable, lightweight, and skin-friendly Super Titanium™ with a lustrous black finish achieved through Citizen's proprietary Duratect DLC processing, offer exceptional comfort and scratch resistance.
