A limited edition model, born from a collaboration between Honda's new electric vehicle (EV) "Honda e" and the Revolution Line, the high-end collection of the world's first GPS solar watch, SEIKO Astron, will be released exclusively in Japan on Saturday, September 26, 2020.

The Honda electric vehicle "Honda e" was developed with the aim of creating value that seamlessly connects mobility and people's lives, enriching daily life through its powerful and clean urban commuting performance. Astron, too, has been a watch brand that has continuously proposed a new form of wristwatch, expanding possibilities while staying close to people's lifestyles with its cutting-edge GPS solar technology and original design.

The "SEIKO Astron Revolution Line Honda e Limited Model" GPS solar watch, embodying the "Affinity & Modern" identity that resonates between these two entities, is being released as a limited edition of 300 units.

A key feature of this model is its refined design, which minimizes edges and allows surfaces to flow seamlessly. This design incorporates the motif of circles, based on the approachability and solidity found in the "Honda e" design. A gentle flow of light connects the box sapphire crystal with its crisp curved form to the white ceramic outer case. The full polish finish on all parts except the case back also draws attention to its transparent, high-quality texture. The dial design is also modern and minimalist, with the hands and indices expressing the "circular motif" of the "Honda e." Furthermore, fitting for a special edition, the case back is marked with a logo inspired by the "Honda e" wheel design and a serial number.

While the strap is made of silicone, a special interchangeable strap made from a newly developed sheet material exclusively for the "Honda e" is also included. Swapping this strap gives the watch a softer, more approachable appearance. Additionally, a special box crafted from wood with a texture similar to the wood-grain finish on the "Honda e" console deck is also included.
