A Legendary Model Turns 100: The Tissot Heritage Porto is Reissued.

To commemorate the 100th anniversary of the TISSOT PORTO, born in 1919, Tissot has released five faithfully reproduced models of the "TISSOT HERITAGE PORTO."

A Reimagined Tonneau Shape and Arabic Numerals Grace the Dial.

The "Tissot Heritage Porto" is a reissue celebrating the 100th anniversary of the "Tissot Porto," created in 1919 during the height of the Art Deco era. This timepiece is characterized by its barrel-shaped tonneau case and a charming dial featuring geometric Arabic numerals, which were exclusively supplied to Tissot at the time. The name originates from "Porto," a port city in northern Portugal, a major hub for European trade and a cultural center, renowned for its thriving export of Port wine, one of the world's three great fortified wines made from grapes cultivated in the Douro Valley.

This legendary model faithfully reproduces not only its elegantly curved tonneau shape but also intricate details such as the Arabic numeral indices, used exclusively by Tissot, and classical poire Stuart hands. It is available in five variations, equipped with either mechanical or quartz movements.

The mechanical three-hand model, in particular, offers a nostalgic ambiance with its elegant balance of classical, glamorous poire Stuart hands and Arabic numeral indices, complemented by a railway minute track and a small seconds subdial. Despite being a men's model, its exquisite tonneau case size, slender strap, and delicately formed lugs ensure a comfortable fit on the wrist.

Additionally, for purchases of the "Tissot Heritage Porto" made by the end of December 2019, a complimentary service is offered to engrave a European lucky motif and up to 10 characters of your choice onto the case back.
