A limited edition of 600 pieces marks the 60th anniversary of Sinn, a leading name in German watchmaking driven by functionality.

The "103. KLASSIK12," a limited edition model celebrating Sinn's 60th anniversary, has been unveiled, stemming from the "103" series, a cornerstone of Sinn's history. This classic chronograph features a ceramic bezel insert for the first time in the "103" series.

The "103" Series: A Cornerstone of Sinn's History

Founded in the 1960s, Sinn is a German watch brand renowned for its commitment to functionality. The pilot's chronograph "103," which introduced many to the Sinn brand, has seen continuous series expansion for over 50 years, incorporating various Sinn technologies and features. From this inherently classic collection, the "103.KLASSIK12," a special limited edition of 600 pieces, has been released to commemorate Sinn's 60th anniversary.

While positioned as a classic timepiece honoring Sinn's heritage, this model also incorporates a contemporary interpretation. For instance, the ceramic bezel insert, a first for the "103" series, is characterized by its exceptional hardness and superior scratch resistance. The rotating bezel, secured by Sinn's proprietary special bonding process, features a 12-hour scale for displaying a second time zone.
The numerals engraved on the bezel are rendered in an aged ivory hue. This color is echoed in the three sub-dials, indices, and luminous markers, further enhancing the classic aesthetic. The applied indices, like the hour, minute, and stopwatch second hands, are finished with rhodium plating and treated with luminous material.

To commemorate the brand's anniversary, the glossy black dial is inscribed not only with "Sinn" but also with "Frankfurt am Main," the location of Sinn's headquarters and the watch's production site. The exhibition case back is engraved with the limited edition number, "1961 2021," and the German phrase "60 JAHRE" signifying the 60th anniversary. The "103.KLASSIK12" comes with a dark green wild boar leather strap as standard, along with an additional black embossed cowhide strap and a 60th-anniversary patch. It is available as a limited edition of 600 pieces worldwide.
