El Primero, released by Zenith in 1969. To celebrate its 50th anniversary, the "El Primero A384 Revival," a faithful recreation of this historic chronograph's iconic design, has been born.

In 1969, Zenith introduced the "El Primero A384," the first watch equipped with the innovative El Primero movement. This year, marking the 50th anniversary, Zenith has unveiled the "El Primero A384 Revival."

Upon its release, the El Primero, with its instantly recognizable elegance, created a stir in the world of chronographs and later became a collector's item. Retaining its retro-futuristic aesthetic and timeless proportions, the "El Primero A384 Revival" is a faithful recreation and revival of a historic chronograph icon.

Through reverse engineering, Zenith has meticulously recreated the 1969 original, from its 37mm faceted steel case to the lacquered white/black tachymeter dial. Improvements over the original include the use of sapphire crystal instead of acrylic glass, a see-through case back instead of a solid one, and the integration of the El Primero 400 chronograph movement, which has undergone continuous refinement for half a century.

In addition to its vintage style, it comes with a modern black alligator leather strap offering excellent durability. A metal ladder bracelet is also available, further echoing the style of the original 1969 El Primero A384.
