Porsche Design's First Compact and Lightweight 39mm Titanium Case
The "Sport Chrono Collection" released by Porsche Design in 2020 faithfully reproduces the classic design, materials, and performance characteristics of Porsche sports cars in a wristwatch. For 2021, three new models have been announced, featuring the "Sport Chrono Subsecond 39," which marks the first time a 39mm case has been used. The dial colors are available in black, brown, and blue.

39mm Case Delivers a Sporty Yet Elegant Impression on the Wrist
Porsche Design has released three new models in the "Sport Chrono Collection": the "Sport Chrono Subsecond 39," which features the brand's first 39mm case. The compact size not only creates a sporty yet elegant aura on the wrist but also appeals to watch enthusiasts with slimmer wrists.
Aside from the reduction in case diameter from the collection's previous 42mm to 39mm, the performance and pure design, characterized by the essential elements that define Porsche Design, along with optimal legibility, remain unchanged. This serves as proof that harmonious design can succeed regardless of size.
On the dial, a small seconds subdial is positioned at 6 o'clock. Inside the titanium case beats the COSC-certified Porsche Design caliber WERK03.200. This automatic movement is equipped with the iconic Porsche Design rotor, ensuring powerful winding, and offers a power reserve of approximately 38 hours. This collection features dials in black, blue, or brown, paired with leather straps made from genuine Porsche calfskin leather that match the dial color. Furthermore, the hard-coated, seven-layer anti-reflective sapphire crystal, a hallmark of Porsche Design watches, ensures legibility regardless of brightness or viewing angle.
