New Silicone Rubber Band Model for "Eco-Drive Riiiver" Compatible with IoT Platform

Citizen will launch a new model featuring a silicone rubber band for its light-powered "Eco-Drive Riiiver" smartwatch, compatible with the IoT platform "Riiiver," on Thursday, January 23, 2020.

Pop and Casual Accent Colors on the Dial Also a Change from the Previous Model

The "Eco-Drive Riiiver" is a smartwatch that connects to various devices and services according to one's lifestyle and preferences through the IoT platform "Riiiver." It enables a wide range of settings depending on one's ideas, such as acquiring information in conjunction with apps or operating IoT devices like smart speakers.

Furthermore, new silicone rubber band models have been introduced for the "Eco-Drive Riiiver," which previously only came with stainless steel bands. Models with vibrant color accents such as orange and blue on the outer circumference of the dial are also available, creating a pop, casual, and sporty atmosphere.

With consideration for readability not only of the time but also of various data, hands with highly visible coloring and shapes have been adopted on the wide-open dial. The case is combined with a silicone rubber band, creating a minimalist design. By focusing on the inherent beauty of a wristwatch, the design aims to be both novel and possess the warmth and gentleness unique to analog timepieces.
