Bulgari introduces the "Bvlgari Aluminium Amerigo Vespucci Limited Edition," a tribute to the legendary Italian explorer Amerigo Vespucci and the Italian Navy training ship Vespucci. This model embodies Bulgari's respect for the spirit of great sailing and adventurous exploration.
A Black and Yellow Color Scheme Evoking the Majestic Sailing Ship Vespucci
Amerigo Vespucci, the 15th-century explorer credited with the first European landing in the Americas and the namesake of the American continent, embodies the spirit of Italian adventure. Bulgari pays homage to this legacy and to the Italian Navy training ship Vespucci, a historic sailing vessel bearing his name, with a new limited edition within its iconic "Bvlgari Aluminium" collection.
Born in 1931, the magnificent sailing ship Vespucci has shared its journey with generations of naval cadets. The "Bvlgari Aluminium Amerigo Vespucci Limited Edition" features a color palette inspired by this proud vessel.
The arrow-shaped hands, treated with Super-LumiNova® for second time zone indication, complete a full dial rotation in 24 hours. The dial's outer rim is divided into two 12-hour segments, day and night, with a striking contrast of black and yellow, reminiscent of the Vespucci's gold trim and dark railings.
The GMT hand can be adjusted independently via the titanium crown. The indexes and hands, coated with Super-LumiNova®, glow faintly in the dark like the stars guiding sailors. The titanium case back is engraved with the ship's name, "Nave Scuola Amerigo Vespucci," and its motto: "Non chi cominicia ma quel che persevere" (Not who begins, but who perseveres).
The watch is powered by the automatic Caliber BVL192. This model powerfully expresses contemporary Italian design through aluminum, titanium, and rubber, with colors that celebrate great explorers, the sea, and the Italian Navy.
