BULOVA, a watch brand founded in America in 1875, is reissuing the COMPUTRON series, one of its most iconic collections featuring a digital LED display, as part of its popular reissue collection, Archives Series.

The "BULOVA Computron" is a reissue of the popular Computron series, originally released in the late 1970s to early 1980s to meet the rapidly growing demand for digital watches. The distinctive, unconventional trapezoidal case design that garnered attention back then has been faithfully carried over to this reissue. The time is displayed on the LED screen on the front of the case by pressing the crown button. A single press shows the "hour and minute," a second press displays the "seconds," followed by "month and day," "day of the week," and "second time zone hour and minute" in sequence with further presses. The trapezoidal case, novel for its time, and the striped design adorning the dial and strap have been revived as a model brimming with retro charm.

This release comes in three variations: a stainless steel case and bracelet with gold PVD coating and red LED display; a silver stainless steel case and bracelet with blue LED display; and a black stainless steel case paired with a silicone strap and red LED display. This series has been available since Friday, November 8, 2019, at watch specialty stores and department store watch counters nationwide.
