Limited Edition Items for Adults Arrive to Celebrate Disney's 100th Anniversary
To celebrate Disney's 100th anniversary, Wako will launch a collection of meticulously crafted Wako-exclusive items on August 10th. Furthermore, a special limited-time exhibition and sale event featuring the collection will be held at the Seiko House Ginza Hall from August 10th to August 27th.
A Wako Exclusive Collection Designed for a Richer Everyday Life
Wako's clock tower, a symbol of Ginza, has watched over the district for years. The current second-generation clock tower was completed in 1932, the same year classic Mickey Mouse films were released. On August 10th, Wako will release high-quality, Wako-exclusive items for adults, featuring the enduring magic of Disney's stories and characters, including pieces depicting scenes from those classic films.
To coincide with the launch, the event "Moments of Magic at the Clock Tower" will be held at the Seiko House Ginza Hall to celebrate Disney's 100th anniversary. The venue will feature a photo spot, and the collection will be on display and available for purchase.
The MANACO Embroidered Tote Bag features scenes of Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse conducting and playing instruments, rendered in a chic monochrome palette for a sophisticated look. Accented with touches of yellow and red embroidery for a playful feel, this tote bag comes in two designs, priced at ¥143,000.
The MANACO Jacquard Tote Bag depicts a comical scene of Mickey Mouse and friends enjoying a party with music and food, expressed through jacquard weaving on a denim-like material. The leather trim is available in blue or a contrasting red, priced at ¥99,000.
The L'ARCOBALENO Smart W Shoulder Wallet, from the Italian leather goods brand L'ARCOBALENO, features a popular W shoulder wallet design with a hot-stamped silhouette of a standing Mickey Mouse. Available in four vibrant bi-color combinations, this wallet offers both style and functionality, priced at ¥41,800.
The SUZUSAN Knitwear is crafted from soft cashmere and wool, featuring Mickey Mouse icons rendered using the traditional Arimatsu Shibori dyeing technique.
