"96A245": Inspired by the Elusive "A-15"

Founded in 1875, Bulova boasts over 140 years of history. This watch brand is known for its unique designs that honor tradition. The new "Bulova Military" collection draws inspiration from watches that were once part of the U.S. military's equipment.
The "96A245" is inspired by the "A-15," a model produced for a very limited period and considered elusive. Its dual crowns allow for precise timing: the crown at 2 o'clock rotates the outer dial (minutes), while the crown at 4 o'clock rotates the inner dial (hours), enabling the measurement of elapsed time from any chosen moment.
The original models for the "96A246" and "98A255" were the "3818-A." These watches feature essential military functions such as a hacking mechanism (second hand stop) for precise time setting when the crown is pulled, and luminous hands and indices for legibility in low-light conditions.
