JAEGER-LECOULTRE | Master Control Classic

Jaeger-LeCoultre has released the Master Control Classic, inspired by the historic model introduced in 1995, in a limited edition of 500 pieces. This timepiece, which highlights the timeless appeal of classical design, is a model that strongly reflects the Maison's heritage.

Classical Design Faithful to the Original

Housed in a 36mm stainless steel case, the Master Control Classic is only 2mm larger than its historic predecessor. Every aesthetic detail remains faithful to the original, exuding vintage charm with its cool silver-white color palette and minimalist design.

The stainless steel case features a classic silver-colored sunray-finished dial. Elongated triangular hour markers and dots with luminous paint, along with dauphine hands, indicate the time. A blue central seconds hand adds a subtle touch of color, maintaining the overall harmony. The warm brown ostrich strap is secured with a pin buckle, and the lighter stitching accentuates the vintage appeal.

While its appearance faithfully reproduces the historic model, the movement is equipped with the latest version of the automatic Caliber 899. Caliber 899, which has been Jaeger-LeCoultre's main movement for nearly 20 years, has undergone numerous updates and incorporates the latest technologies for performance enhancement, now achieving a 70-hour power reserve.

The case back features an emblem inspired by the medallion design of the original from the 1990s, signifying the "1000 Hours Control" certification that distinguished the early Master Control models.

This unique protocol rigorously tests not only the movement but also the watch after casing. Since its introduction in 1992, it has established a new standard for precision and continues to evolve with technological advancements.
