Swiss watchmaker EDOX has unveiled two new models, the Chronorally BMW M Motorsport Limited Edition, commemorating its sponsorship with BMW M Motorsport. Released on July 15, 2022, these timepieces are limited to a worldwide production of 2,000 units.

Capturing the Thrill of Motorsport and the Chronorally Aesthetic

EDOX has a long-standing relationship with motorsport, serving as the Official Timing Partner for the FIA World Rallycross Championship and the former F1 team Sauber.

The Chronorally collection, inspired by the thrilling world of motor racing, has evolved over more than a decade to ensure precise timekeeping even in the harshest conditions. Details such as the intricately crafted dial, the distinctive oversized second push-buttons, a unique case back designed like a wheel rim, and a soft rubber strap shaped like a tire, all evoke the spirit of racing.

In both motorsport and private life, elite athletes demand the best from their equipment. The Chronorally BMW M Motorsport Limited Edition is an instrument designed for perfect timing in a sport where split-second precision is key to success.

Like BMW M Motorsport cars, the Chronorally BMW M Motorsport Limited Edition has been developed with meticulous attention to detail. The 48mm titanium case is large and bold, housing the precise EDOX Caliber chronograph movement. Unique oversized pushers at the 2 and 4 o'clock positions allow for accurate lap time measurement, even when wearing gloves.

Produced in a worldwide limited edition of 2,000 units, the dial is available in two variations: white or blue. The accent colors—blue for BMW and red for motorsport—are drawn from the corporate colors of BMW M.

The dial, inspired by the dashboard of a racing car, features functions such as a tachymeter, a 1/10th chronograph, a retrograde day display, and a highly legible big date window. The hands and indices are coated with Super-LumiNova X1, ensuring excellent visibility in all conditions.

It comes with a rubber strap featuring a tire tread pattern that embodies the Chronorally aesthetic, presented in a dedicated watch box.

EDOX shares the same values and a similar driving force as the new official timing partner of BMW M Motorsport. Attention is drawn to this meticulously crafted timepiece that never misses a beat.
