From the "CODE 11.59 by Audemars Piguet" released in 2019, ten new models have arrived, featuring automatic (date and hour/minute/second) and chronograph versions, each with five complex and deep color dials: blue, burgundy, purple, grey, and smoke grey. These new creations imbue a timeless design with fresh, contemporary character.

A 41mm Case Continues the Series' Legacy

Audemars Piguet introduces ten new models in the "CODE 11.59 by Audemars Piguet" collection, featuring automatic and chronograph versions adorned with sunburst-patterned smoked lacquer dials in blue, burgundy, purple, grey, and smoke grey. These timepieces, boasting artistic dials, an ultra-thin bezel, and double-curved anti-reflective sapphire crystal, showcase dial details enhanced by the glass's light-refracting properties. Notably, the hand-applied, galvanic-finished gold signature logo of Audemars Piguet gleams with exceptional beauty.
The case employs a combination of hand-finished satin-brushed and polished surfaces, creating a beautiful texture. With a 41mm diameter, the case size is perfectly suited for the Japanese wrist. Its arched, ergonomic shape ensures a comfortable fit for everyone.
This collection comprises two types of watches: automatic and chronograph. Each watch is paired with a hand-stitched alligator strap featuring a "large scale" pattern that complements the dial color.

The grey and smoke grey dial models are presented in bi-color versions, combining 18K white gold for the bezel, lugs, and case back with a 18K pink gold middle case. These bi-color versions accentuate the case's intricate form and the beauty of its hand finishing, further enhancing the collection's value by merging traditional craftsmanship with innovative design.
Bi-color gold cases are a rarity for Audemars Piguet. Of the 550 watches produced between 1882 and 1969, only eight were made in bi-color gold. Furthermore, the combination of 18K white gold and 18K pink gold is exceptionally uncommon; archives indicate only one such piece was made before 1978. This pairing continues to be a sophisticated symbol of refinement and elegance to this day.

The model with the sunburst smoked burgundy lacquer dial features a finish where its reddish hue and deep nuances are beautifully set against the 18K white gold case. The dial displays 18K white gold hands and applied hour markers. The smoked blue lacquer dial model, with its 18K pink gold case, presents a color combination reminiscent of the meeting of sun and sea. The black inner bezel enhances the dial's depth and density, while the double-curved anti-reflective sapphire crystal allows for subtle light reflections.

The purple color, born from a blend of calm blue and passionate red, offers a model that exudes refined elegance. It features a smoked purple lacquer dial, an 18K pink gold case, and 18K pink gold applied hour markers and hands on the dial.

These new models are equipped with the latest self-winding movements and automatic chronograph movements developed in-house and first presented in 2019. The automatic models feature the Calibre 4302, a self-winding movement with a seconds hand and jumping date display, while the chronograph models are powered by the Calibre 4401. The 4401 includes a column wheel and a flyback function, allowing the chronograph to be restarted without stopping and resetting. Both movements utilize patented mechanisms designed to enhance stability and precision during functional adjustments.
Visible through the case back, these two calibers showcase sophisticated hand finishing that upholds the traditions of haute horlogerie, including "horizontal satin," "Côtes de Genève," circular graining, circular satin, and angled diamond polishing. The 22K gold oscillating weight features a special openwork design, allowing all these components to be admired through the case back.
