Panerai, which first built its reputation in the specialized field of diving watches, has released the "Submersible Azzurro - 42mm" as a new professional tool. This new Submersible, developed by fusing technical performance and proven expertise with accumulated know-how, is a model that combines both beauty and functionality.

The light blue chosen for the bezel's matte ceramic disc evokes the sea. This is a characteristic element of Panerai, which has had a deep connection with the marine world since its inception, and it is also the national color symbolizing Italian unification, achieved in 1861.

Furthermore, this model is designed to meet the stringent requirements of a mission watch, featuring a unidirectional rotating bezel, a screw-down case back, and the iconic lever-lock crown protector. The indices and hands, along with the dots, glow in blue and green for enhanced visibility during dives.

The movement is the high-performance automatic P.900 caliber, entirely designed, developed, and manufactured by the Panerai Manufacture in Neuchâtel. This 4.2mm-thick movement is accurate and durable, offering a 3-day power reserve and water resistance up to 30 bar (approximately 300 meters).

This timepiece comes with a black rubber strap fitted with a trapezoidal pin buckle in brushed steel, and an additional black Sportech™ strap is included for replacement. The watch, along with the interchangeable strap and the tool for removing the strap from the buckle, is presented in a box and offered as a worldwide limited edition of 500 units.
