The Oris 40th Squadron Limited Edition, the first limited watch born from a partnership between Oris and the Belgian Air Force's 40th Squadron Search and Rescue Unit, will be released in late August 2019, limited to 500 pieces worldwide.

A Limited Pilot's Watch Adorned with Military Details

From Oris's pilot's watch collection, the Big Crown Pilot, comes the Oris 40th Squadron Limited Edition, born from a partnership with the esteemed 40th Squadron Search and Rescue Unit of the Belgian Air Force.

This watch, created to honor the Belgian Air Force's 40th Squadron, which has saved countless lives over its nearly 50-year history since its formation in 1974, is based on the Oris Big Crown ProPilot Big Day Date. It features colors inspired by the Seaking helicopters flown by the 40th Squadron, with military-inspired details reflecting a palette of orange, green, and beige.

The brown camouflage hands and the military green textile strap, lined with vibrant orange leather on the underside, offer a color scheme well-suited for autumn attire. The black dial is paired with indices treated with Super-LumiNova® P 467C A Grade for easy readability during flight, and the 40th Squadron logo is engraved on the case back. This limited edition watch comes in a special box and is limited to 500 pieces worldwide.
