HUBLOT x Takashi Murakami's "Flower" Motif Limited Edition Watch

HUBLOT, whose brand philosophy is "THE ART OF FUSION (the fusion of different materials and ideas)," has released the "Classic Fusion Takashi Murakami All Black" in collaboration with world-renowned top artist Takashi Murakami. This model, which expresses Murakami's signature "flower" motif in HUBLOT's distinctive "All Black" style, will be available in a strictly limited edition of 200 pieces, sure to sell out.

A Bold Watch Expressing the Pop "Flower" Motif in All Black

The new "Classic Fusion Takashi Murakami All Black" has been born from a project initiated by HUBLOT and world-renowned artist Takashi Murakami. This piece marks the first collaboration between HUBLOT and a Japanese artist. It features a 45mm case with the iconic design of the "Classic Fusion" collection, powered by the in-house developed and manufactured "Unico" caliber. This is a timepiece that transcends the boundaries of both watchmaking and art.

Takashi Murakami's iconic "flower" motif is boldly placed on the dial and crown, with a sophisticated ball-bearing system developed by HUBLOT engineers enabling the petals to rotate. Furthermore, the center of the "flower" is set in sapphire glass, creating a unique 3D effect along with a captivating "smile."

The petals and face are paved with brilliant-cut black diamonds (456 and 107 pieces, respectively), further enhancing the "All Black" expression, one of HUBLOT's most striking features.

When asked why he chose "All Black" for a collection known for its colorful works, Murakami stated, "About 15 years ago, when I was invited by HUBLOT, I was presented with a black rubber strap. From that memory, I associated HUBLOT with the color black, so I proposed a monochromatic black design. I'm very pleased that it expresses my first impression of HUBLOT."
