A Tribute Model Reflecting Design Codes Worthy of Succession

Montblanc has announced the "Montblanc 1858 Monopusher Chronograph Limited Edition 1858," inspired by Minerva's heritage. This new creation embodies the Minerva design aesthetic with a new dial color, case elements crafted from a special bronze alloy, a handmade NATO strap, and a unique complication.
The satin-finished case is complemented by elegantly curved horns that sweep downwards, while details such as the grooved crown, often found on classic timepieces, and the domed sapphire crystal glass box evoke a vintage feel.
The "Montblanc 1858 Monopusher Chronograph" represents one of Montblanc's key technical pillars as a watch brand. This new iteration draws inspiration from the historical "Minerva chronographs" that were powered by the Calibre 13.20 from the 1930s.
Similar to the original Minerva chronographs, it features a black dial with a beige railway track and two counters at the 3 and 9 o'clock positions. Without compromising this vintage design, the telemeter scale, hour markers, and rose gold-finished cathedral hands are unified in beige and treated with Super-LumiNova® for nighttime legibility.
These elements are housed within a 44mm case made of a special bronze alloy that will develop a patina over time, lending it a distinguished hue.
The case houses the Calibre MB25.12. It displays elapsed time with a central seconds hand and a 30-minute counter, both featuring white hands for contrast against the black dial, ensuring excellent legibility. Starting, stopping, and resetting are all controlled by a single pusher integrated into the crown.
The strap is a beige NATO material, handcrafted in a traditional French weaving factory that has been operating for 150 years. This combination maintains a refined appearance while being robust, durable, and comfortable to wear. The beige color of the strap further enhances the vintage aesthetic.
Additionally, two unlimited stainless steel models will be available. One, a stainless steel bracelet model, features a combination of polished, rice-grain-shaped central links and satin-finished square outer links. The other comes with a cognac-colored calfskin strap with an aged finish.
