Celebrating 50 Years: The First Product is Revived! "Chronograph 1 – 1972 Limited Edition"

The watch, designed by Ferdinand Alexander Porsche, the legendary designer of the Porsche 911 and founder of Porsche Design, and released in 1972, has been revived as the "Chronograph 1 – 1972 Limited Edition" to commemorate the brand's 50th anniversary. Only 500 units will be produced.

A 50th Anniversary Model Boasting Porsche's Highest Quality

The first product under the Porsche Design name, and the world's first all-black wristwatch. The first chronograph, meeting Porsche's quality requirements and embodying its DNA, has been revived in 2022 as the "Chronograph 1 – 1972 Limited Edition" to celebrate the brand's 50th anniversary, as a limited production item of 500 units.

This piece, commemorating the brand's 50th anniversary, reconstructs the design characteristics of the original model with meticulous attention to detail. The historic, early Porsche Design logo is inscribed on the dial and case back, and this design is replicated on the bracelet and crown, specially developed for this model.
