A New Release Inheriting Panerai's Distinct Identity

Panerai's flagship "Luminor Marina" stands out with its unique identity within the Luminor collection. The "Luminor Marina" is a successor to the historic diver's watch conceived in the early 1950s, inspired by Luminor, a tritium-based luminescent material used in World War II, which replaced Radiomir.

The new "Luminor Marina - 44mm" is the result of advanced innovation and long-standing tradition through continuous development, establishing its position as an undisputed milestone of Italian design with its unparalleled beauty.

The secret to its enduring support lies in its identity, emphasized by the originality of its dial design featuring the legendary sandwich structure. This new model, inheriting Panerai's DNA, features a blue sun-brushed satin finish and is paired with a blue alligator leather strap.

The dial's graphic representation is further enhanced by the reaction of the luminescent material, which intensifies in darkness. High-performance Super-LumiNova® was chosen from the "Panerai Laboratorio di Idee (Workshop of Ideas)" to refresh the collection, and this retro, luminous green hue harks back to the brand's origins.

This watch is equipped with the P.9010 calibre, an automatic movement entirely designed and developed at the Panerai manufacture in Neuchâtel. Measuring just 6mm thick, it is highly reliable and precise, with twin spring barrels providing a power reserve of three days. It also features a practical function that allows for quick time setting by advancing or retracting the hour hand in one-hour increments, automatically adjusting the date.

It is water-resistant to 30 bar and comes with an alligator leather strap fitted with a satin-finished steel buckle. A spare rubber strap, along with a tool for replacing it and a screwdriver for removing the clasp, are included, allowing for strap changes.
