From Presage, a watch brand embodying Japanese aesthetics, comes a limited edition model inspired by cocktails created by Hisashi Kishi, a recipient of the Contemporary Master Craftsman award and owner of Ginza's STAR BAR. The "Presage Cocktail Time STAR BAR Limited Edition" will be available starting Friday, January 14, 2022. Production is limited to 5,500 units worldwide, with 300 allocated for Japan.

The STAR BAR limited edition series, born from a collaboration with Hisashi Kishi, one of the world's top bartenders, welcomes the new "Presage Cocktail Time STAR BAR Limited Edition." Kishi, the first bartender to receive the Contemporary Master Craftsman award in 2008, has consistently created original cocktails that skillfully utilize Japanese ingredients.

This timepiece draws inspiration from "Abundance," an original cocktail crafted using "sake" nurtured by Japan's rich nature. It captures the scene of ripe rice ears, heavy with harvest, glowing golden under the sun.

The dial depicts a rice field shimmering in the light and swaying in the breeze, rendered in sharp gold and soft pale gold hues. The unique aged character of sake is expressed through intricate patterns and a lustrous transparency. Details that showcase the appeal of mechanical watches include hand-bent "bent hands" for the seconds and minute hands, and slender, glass-stem-inspired indices for a classic aesthetic.

Through the see-through case back, one can admire the precise oscillation of the balance wheel and the dynamic movement of the rotor, characteristic of mechanical watches. The case back is also engraved with "Limited Edition" and a serial number from 0001/5500 to 5500/5500, signifying its limited status. A special box accompanies this exclusive model.
