Citizen Attesa has begun accepting advance reservations for two limited edition models inspired by the world of Star Wars and Darth Vader, starting Friday, October 4, 2019. Sales are scheduled to commence in December, with production limited to 1,200 units and 1,500 units respectively.

Citizen Attesa introduces two limited edition models: one inspired by the Star Wars universe and another paying homage to Darth Vader.

The Star Wars model features a case and band crafted with Citizen's proprietary surface hardening technology, Duratect Titanium Carbide, known for its high scratch resistance and the natural titanium hue. The dial, a striking blue reminiscent of a lightsaber, is speckled with glitter evoking the vastness of space. The crown is adorned with the Rebel Alliance symbol, while the case back is printed with the Star Wars logo and the iconic line, “May the Force be with you.”

In contrast, the Darth Vader model boasts a case and band finished in a deep black, achieved through "Black Titanium™" (Titanium + Duratect DLC). The dial displays the Death Star plans, accented with the red of Darth Vader's lightsaber. The crown features the Imperial crest, and the case back is printed with a Darth Vader illustration and the line, “If you only knew the power of the dark side.”

Both models meticulously capture the essence of the Star Wars universe while remaining versatile for both formal and casual wear. They are powered by the Eco-Drive GPS satellite radio-controlled movement, Caliber F950. This advanced movement receives time signals in a world-leading three seconds, rapidly adjusting the main time hands for quick display. It also offers dual time display, dual time function, and chronograph capabilities, among other top-tier features. Both watches are crafted with anti-metal allergy specifications, ensuring comfortable and safe wear.

These two limited edition models will be on display at the "STAR WARS™ Identities: The Exhibition" event in Shinagawa, Tokyo, starting Friday, October 4.
