Masterpieces from the 1990s, born from a collaboration between SEIKO and Ettore Sottsass, the maestro of Italian design, have been reinterpreted for the modern era and released as the limited collection "SEIKO × Sottsass Limited Edition."

The '90s Masterpieces by Ettore Sottsass Revived
The limited collection "SEIKO × Sottsass Limited Edition" reissued by SEIKO is based on masterpieces created in the 1990s through a collaboration between SEIKO and Ettore Sottsass, a giant of Italian design.
Sottsass was an Italian architect and designer, known for creating numerous outstanding product designs, including Italy's first computer, the ELEA series, and the portable typewriter "Valentine."
To remain as close as possible to the original aesthetic, the collection reproduces the sharp form with two stacked glass layers over a simple case. Printing the numbers and markers on the back of the glass creates a novel design where the display appears to float three-dimensionally, a key characteristic.
While retaining the playful designs and unique color schemes that evoke the original era, the case size has been updated for modern wear. The distinctive, creative Italian design sits comfortably on the wrist.
