A special edition model, the "ORIS × MOMOTARO Special Edition," has been released, a collaboration between Momotaro Jeans, which crafts world-class denim in Kojima, Kurashiki City—known as the mecca of jeans—and Oris. Pre-orders began on the Oris official website on April 24, 2020 (Friday), with sales commencing at the Oris Ginza Boutique and select Momotaro Jeans directly managed stores.

Momotaro Jeans Fabric Used for the Strap

Oris, the independent Swiss watch brand, has released the "ORIS × MOMOTARO Special Edition" watch in collaboration with "Momotaro Jeans," a brand that conveys high-quality, meticulously crafted jeans from Japan to the world.

The Divers Sixty-Five features a stainless steel case accented with bronze, and its strap is made from high-quality indigo-dyed denim crafted by artisans. The iconic "Battle Stripe" of Momotaro Jeans, a symbol of the brand, is meticulously hand-stitched, achieved through rope dyeing in a deep indigo for color fading, and woven on an old shuttle loom to replicate a handwoven feel.

Mr. Katsu Manabe, who leads Momotaro Jeans, commented on the background of the collaboration with Oris: "We saw this as a great opportunity to explore new ideas in new fields. This is our first collaboration with a Swiss watch brand, and it's likely Oris's first time working with a Japanese fabric manufacturer. Oris is a perfect match for Momotaro Jeans.
