An Ultra-Thin Watch Merging Elegance, Practicality, and Comfort

For a long time, Piaget has been known as a maison that creates exceptionally thin movements. It has achieved numerous records by incorporating various functions and finishes, such as tourbillons, moon phase complications, enameling, and diamond setting, including the world's thinnest skeletonized movement.
Piaget then focused on merging two emblematic areas of the maison: achieving extreme thinness and developing a highly intricate skeletonized caliber. This led to the creation of the "Piaget Polo Skeleton," the first skeletonized model in the Piaget Polo line, in 2021.
This timepiece is a fully skeletonized version of the "Piaget Polo," the groundbreaking luxury sports watch Piaget introduced in 1979. To avoid obstructing the intricate skeletonized movement, even the hands have been skeletonized, achieving ultimate transparency. It is truly a wearable work of art.
For the development of this model, Piaget's designers and engineers revisited the watch's distinctive shape—the curved case surrounded by a round bezel, the cushion-shaped dial, and the slim profile. They then took on the challenge of further reducing the case thickness by 30 percent compared to existing versions and evolving the ultra-thin self-winding movement developed in-house by Piaget.
The 42mm stainless steel case houses the automatic caliber "1200S1," the thinnest in the collection's history at just 6.5mm. Developed and manufactured entirely in-house, the movement itself is a wafer-thin 2.4mm. Despite the complex arrangement of its micro-components, it is robust and reliable, offering a 44-hour power reserve and water resistance to 3 ATM.
The dial is available in two colors: Piaget Blue, treated with CVD, and slate gray, treated with galvanic processes. In addition to the pre-assembled interchangeable stainless steel bracelet, an alligator leather strap is included, allowing for different looks depending on the occasion.
