A Starry Night Sky on the Dial, Centered on the North Star

For centuries, the North Star, shining in the night sky, has guided travelers. The new 'Northstar' Collection from EPOS pays homage to this celestial beacon.

The Night Sky Dial, Evoking the Stars

Since ancient times, humanity has contemplated the vastness of the cosmos. Even today, enjoying a starlit night sky from a remote location remains one of life's great pleasures. Among the many constellations, EPOS has released the 'Northstar' watch, focusing on Ursa Minor. The North Star, the guiding light for direction since antiquity, is placed at the center of the dial, symbolizing this timepiece as a guiding light for watch enthusiasts.

This new model features a Big Moon module developed from the ETA 2892 automatic mechanical movement, its meticulously decorated form visible through the exhibition case back. Its unique, asymmetrically arranged functions—the day and month display discs, the date pointer, and the Big Moon phase—define this timepiece.

The case is available in two variations: stainless steel, or stainless steel with rose gold PVD coating. Both measure 41.7mm in diameter and are equipped with sapphire crystal with anti-reflective coating. The strap options include black calfskin leather and a supple stainless steel metal bracelet.

The striking night sky dial features a luminous Big Moon and hour markers, with small white dots scattered across the dial to evoke twinkling constellations. At its center, a luminous North Star proudly shines, harmonizing perfectly with the blue of the sunray-finished dial.
