Girard-Perregaux introduces the new Laureato Absolute Crystal Rock, which inherits the tradition of the iconic Laureato collection while adopting an advanced carbon glass case.

Since its founding in 1791, Girard-Perregaux has cultivated rich experience, leading to the release of the new Laureato Absolute Crystal Rock. This latest model inherits the Laureato tradition, characterized by its octagonal bezel and integrated bracelet, which has been the brand's signature collection since its debut in 1975. It is a highly futuristic sports chronograph watch that employs cutting-edge materials and technology.

In 2019, the Laureato Absolute was unveiled, emphasizing the tradition of the iconic 1975 model while projecting a strong, masculine identity. This year, the Laureato Absolute Crystal Rock marks a new chapter for the collection.

A key feature of this new chronograph is its 44mm carbon glass case. Carbon glass is a robust yet extremely lightweight material, with this timepiece weighing a mere 94 grams. This high-tech material, a composite of carbon fiber and glass fiber layers, can also be shaped into various forms.

The resulting case has a matte finish, and due to the random arrangement of the inner layers, each case exhibits a unique appearance, making every watch one-of-a-kind.

The dial features a sandwich construction with numerous openings that allow glimpses of the inner workings. This structure skillfully creates a sense of depth, enhancing the overall dial.

The strap is a flexible yet durable gray fabric-effect rubber, designed for enhanced comfort. The seamless transition from case to strap creates an impression of perfect integration. The black titanium folding buckle features a micro-adjustment system, allowing for a precise fit on the wrist.

The Laureato Absolute Crystal Rock is produced in a limited edition of 100 pieces worldwide and will be available at authorized Girard-Perregaux retailers globally.
