A collaboration watch has arrived between CASIO's GPS solar-powered watch "OCEANUS" and the manga "Space Brothers." This model stylishly embodies the world of the manga. It will be released on Saturday, October 5, 2019.

"Space Brothers" is a manga that depicts two brothers who, inspired by space since childhood, strive to become astronauts. It has received high acclaim, winning awards such as the Shogakukan Manga Award, Kodansha Manga Award, and Tezuka Osamu Cultural Prize Reader's Award.

This time, a collaboration with CASIO's high-function metal watch "OCEANUS" has been realized. Based on the "G2000" series, released in 2017 as a Bluetooth®-enabled GPS solar-powered watch with the theme "Earth as Seen from the Moon," this special model has been created.

Particularly noteworthy is the design of the dial. It features the mission logo "From the Moon To the Earth" from the manga, making it instantly recognizable as a special watch.

The color scheme, rendered in a blue and red gradient, evokes the grand narrative of the work. The case back is also engraved with "SPACE BROTHERS."

The box is also illustrated with images of the moon, Earth, and galaxy, allowing you to fully immerse yourself in the world of "Space Brothers."

The worldwide limited edition of 700 pieces is also a significant point. This special collaboration model is a realization of the shared spirit between "OCEANUS," which has evolved with an adventurous drive unbound by conventional watchmaking, and "Space Brothers" author Chūya Koyama, who possesses an unyielding spirit of inquiry and playfulness in his creative process.
