Perhaps hidden by its fame and the sparkle of its diamonds, Cartier's complex and rich history is not widely known. This exhibition displays Cartier's creations according to the evolution of their use and style. How has it created various forms throughout its long history since its founding in 1847? Visitors can learn about the essential beauty pursued and the social role that Cartier's jewelry and accessories have played.

Cartier ExhibitionThis exhibition, the largest of its kind, brings together approximately 600 works, including jewelry, objects, watches, and mantel clocks. From ceremonial jewelry to vanity cases, cigarette cases, wristwatches, and private items, each piece represents the pinnacle of refinement and craftsmanship that has graced Cartier's history. Among them, the numerous tiaras, which tell of Cartier's honor by reflecting the high technical skill of its artisans and the wishes of its patrons, possess a breathtaking splendor. Furthermore, regarding watches, which are important to the maison's identity, an unprecedented 15 Mystery Clocks will be displayed.

The works are primarily from the "Cartier Collection," but approximately 50 pieces have been loaned from public institutions such as the Musée des Arts Décoratifs and private collections. Notably, about 20 pieces from the Princely House of Monaco, offering a glimpse into Princess Grace's refined taste, have garnered attention even before their public display.

These splendid works, which serve as keys to unlocking the complex and rich history of the prestigious jeweler, are a must-see. The exhibition runs until February of next year, so be sure to visit if you find yourself in Paris.
