From RADO, known for its watchmaking utilizing high-tech materials, comes a new model crafted from matte black high-tech ceramic.ChronographThe "RADO D-STAR RATTRAPANTE" has been born, and will be released as a limited edition of 250 pieces worldwide.

Measuring Multiple Times Within a Single Watch
As its name, "Rattrapante," suggests, the "RADO D-STAR RATTRAPANTE" combines a chronograph capable of measuring multiple times with RADO's signature high-tech ceramic. This model is poised to attract attention not only as a new movement-equipped timepiece unlike previous RADO models, but also as a highly rare collector's item limited to just 250 pieces.
This chronograph employs matte ceramic, which requires numerous processes and advanced technology. The manufacturing process involves solidifying and finely grinding special materials such as ultra-fine zirconium oxide powder, then re-dissolving them, and molding them under high pressure.
Furthermore, it is cooled, then dissolved again, and finally sintered in a 1450°C furnace before being polished to a matte finish—a highly complex procedure. This process achieves the lightweight characteristic of ceramic while also creating a chic and luxurious presence.
The 44mm monobloc case, where the matte black truly stands out, is equipped with the ETA automatic chronograph movement "ETA7770." The dial, featuring indices in the same matte black as the case, is accented by a red-tipped seconds hand and the "Rattrapante" logo. The watch is also engraved with a serial number indicating its special edition status.
The "RADO D-STAR RATTRAPANTE" marks the birth of a chronograph that embodies the allure of RADO's unique high-tech materials. This timepiece symbolizes RADO's new challenge in both material and movement.
