Subtle Gold and Black Capture Lunar Contrast

CITIZEN has released two new Attesa models featuring its proprietary technology. The cases and bands are crafted from Super Titanium™, which is hardened to over five times the durability of stainless steel through CITIZEN's Duratect surface hardening process.

The distinctive color palette, combining pale gold and black, evokes the shadows of the moon. The contrast between the moon's illuminated surface and its shadowed side is rendered through the new "Duratect MRK Gold" and "Duratect MRK+DLC" colorations.

Resistant to scratches and scuffs, the combination of a refined, elegant gold hue and a lustrous black finish is notable not only for its durability but also for its aesthetic beauty.

The dial, designed with separate metal components and bold indices, evokes the texture of the lunar surface. The case back, treated with Duratect DLC, represents the far side of the moon, perpetually hidden from light.

The movement is an Eco-Drive GPS satellite-synchronized watch, capable of receiving time signals in as little as three seconds—among the fastest in the world for time-only reception—and displaying the time by rapidly moving the hour and minute hands. It also boasts advanced features such as dual time display, allowing it to show two different times simultaneously, and a Double Direct Flight function with a chronograph.
