The "Eco-Drive Riiiver" is a watch that connects to various devices and services tailored to your lifestyle and preferences through the loT platform "Riiiver."

"Riiiver" is an open loT platform designed to offer new lifestyle experiences by organically connecting people, objects, and events. Users can combine various elements, called "pieces," through apps downloaded onto their tablets or smartphones using a simple three-step process. These are then linked to the watch via Bluetooth®. This enables functions such as "requesting a ride service at your current location" or "automatically shuffling your current playlist after burning 200kcal."

The design balances smartwatch functionality with the aesthetic of a traditional timepiece, incorporating Citizen's signature Eco-Drive light-powered movement that charges simply by exposing the watch face to light, eliminating the need for regular battery replacements.

Beyond just telling time, the watch prioritizes readability of various data, featuring a wide dial with highly visible colored hands and distinct shapes. The bracelet is a delicate mesh band, contributing to the minimalist design.
