MOP Dial That Radiantly Adorns the Wrist,

The "Reine de Naples" was created as a model that carries on Breguet's long-standing tradition. This collection, born in 2002, pays homage to the "world's first wristwatch" crafted by Abraham-Louis Breguet in 1812 for Caroline Murat, Queen of Naples. The collection is characterized by its elegantly curved oval case and its feminine yet bold presence.

For its 2019 Valentine's Day special limited edition, Breguet adopted the design of the original "Reine de Naples" model, featuring an off-center small seconds subdial. The dial, while adhering to the neoclassical style that Breguet held in high regard, is finished by hand by Breguet's artisans.

The center of the dial for time display is adorned with a Clous de Paris guilloché pattern, while the off-center small seconds subdial is decorated with a flame guilloché pattern. The design is elegantly coordinated with a mother-of-pearl dial emitting a soft pink iridescence, a deep pink for the moon phase indicator, and a cabochon-cut pink sapphire set on the crown. Furthermore, the power reserve indicator at the top of the dial and the hour, minute, and second hands are colored in Breguet's signature blue, adding a romantic accent to the design.

Adding further color to this predominantly pink palette are the mauve alligator leather strap and the diamonds set on the bezel and the flange of the dial. The elegant expression of the oval case is further enhanced, making it stand out brilliantly on the wrist. The "Reine de Naples," designed with pink hues and diamonds to celebrate Valentine's Day, is a true masterpiece that speaks to Breguet's unparalleled watchmaking. It is manufactured in a worldwide limited edition of 28 pieces and will be exclusively available at the Breguet Boutique Ginza in Japan.
