A Faceted Form Evoking Grand Seiko's Essence Expresses the Legendary GT-R Special Edition

The "Nissan GT-R50 by Italdesign" is a prototype born from the first collaboration between Nissan and Italdesign. It was created to commemorate the 50th anniversaries of GT-R and Italdesign in 2019 and 2018, respectively. Based on the latest GT-R NISMO, this "Nissan GT-R50 by Italdesign," crafted with European sensibility, is a special edition vehicle that combines Japanese high performance with Italian craftsmanship.



Inspired by this dreamlike "Nissan GT-R50 by Italdesign," Grand Seiko has begun accepting orders for the custom-made "Grand Seiko Sport Collection Spring Drive Chronograph GMT featuring Nissan GT-R50 by Italdesign." Its defining feature is a case with a refined, sharp design. While achieving a mirror finish on all surfaces of the difficult-to-polish ceramic, it forms a faceted silhouette that beautifully accentuates the edges, expressing Grand Seiko's characteristic complex interplay of highlights.

Orders for this custom-made model, which realizes the style of Grand Seiko's unique sports watch inheriting its design philosophy, are being accepted at the "Seiko Flagship Salon" in Ginza Wako. Furthermore, to commemorate this collaboration, an exhibition of the "Nissan GT-R50 by Italdesign" and this special Grand Seiko concept model will be held at "NISSAN CROSSING" in Ginza.
