A Tough Pilot's Model Featuring Sinn Technologies

The Sinn 856 series is a pilot's watch that incorporates Sinn's three core technologies: "Magnetic Field Protection" using soft iron for superior magnetic resistance, "Ar Dehumidifying Technology" to keep the watch's interior dry, and "TEGIMENT Technology" for exceptional scratch resistance.

The dial of the regular model features a cockpit clock design with Arabic numerals only at the 3, 6, 9, and 12 o'clock indices, ensuring optimal legibility for pilots in critical situations. In contrast, this new Japanese limited edition, the "856.FLIEGER," adopts the style of a classic German pilot's watch by changing all indices to Arabic numerals, except for the marker at 12 o'clock.

The stainless steel case, hardened with TEGIMENT technology, is finished with a hairline polish, complemented by an integrated cowhide leather strap. Luminous treatment on the hour, minute, and second hands, as well as the indices, ensures visibility in low-light conditions. The dial at 6 o'clock is marked with symbols indicating the "Magnetic Field Protection," "Ar Dehumidifying Technology," and "TEGIMENT Technology" incorporated in this model.

Within Sinn's existing collection, the "856.FLIEGER" is the only model that features Sinn technologies, has an Arabic numeral index, and lacks a rotating bezel. This Japanese limited edition of 50 pieces is scheduled for release starting November 2018.
