A Classic Chrono with a Captivating Panda Dial
Hamilton's hand-wound chronograph, the "Chrono-graph A," was released in 1968. This legendary Hamilton timepiece, featuring the so-called "panda dial," was revived in 2018, its 50th anniversary, as the "Intra-Matic Auto Chrono."
The Hamilton logo on the dial of the "Intra-Matic Auto Chrono" is identical to the original, reflecting the intention to faithfully reproduce the American spirit embodied in the "Chrono-graph A." While the original had a case diameter of 36mm, the new model measures 40mm, fitting comfortably on the wrist. Composed entirely of monochrome colors without any added hues, it exudes a dry, sophisticated charm.
The movement is equipped with the H-31 automatic chronograph. Its standard power reserve has been extended to 60 hours, offering the high precision and functional date display characteristic of Swiss-made timepieces. The strap is crafted from soft-touch calfskin, ensuring both comfortable wear and excellent durability.
The Hamilton Intra-Matic Auto Chrono, a timepiece that strongly reflects modern American classicism and enhances any style, embodies the fusion of American spirit and Swiss technology.
