A New Luminor with Military Features and a Powerful Persona

The "Luminor California Eight Days DLC" combines Panerai's traditional elements with a new cuff strap, creating a powerful and masculine character. The case is crafted from DLC-coated titanium, styled with the California dial used in Panerai's early watchmaking days, accentuating its strong personality.

The titanium case features a DLC coating, providing resistance to scratches and corrosion while imparting a matte anthracite finish. The lever-lock crown protector also boasts a DLC coating, and the watch offers a water resistance of 30 bar.

The natural leather strap offers a soft, natural texture both visually and tactilely, yet is exceptionally robust. The cuff strap, originally designed for military use, prevents the case back from direct skin contact, but it can also be removed, allowing the strap to be worn alone. Both feature beige stitching and are hot-stamped with the Officine Panerai "OP" logo. A black rubber strap is also included, allowing for a change during diving.

The movement is the P.5000 hand-wound caliber, manufactured in-house at Panerai's Neuchâtel facility. Inspired by the historical timepieces Panerai created for the Italian Navy's special diving unit, this movement is robustly constructed. Measuring 15¾ lignes and 4.5mm thick, large, satin-finished plates with diamond-polished chamfers cover the gears while revealing the balance wheel. Operating at 21,600 vibrations per hour, its twin barrels deliver an impressive 8-day power reserve.
