Gorilla, an adventurous brand inheriting the DNA of luxury watches, makes its debut in Japan. Sales began in June 2018 at specialty watch stores and other retailers.

Three Models Featuring a Mix of Cutting-Edge and Diverse Materials

Gorilla is a high-performance watch brand born in 2016.

It was established by Octavio Garcia, former Chief Artistic Officer at one of Switzerland's three major established watch maisons (Graff), and Lucas Gorp, also a senior designer. This duo is also known as the celebrated pair in the watch world who consistently produced major hits during the boom of mechanical watches in the 2000s.

The brand's concept is "creatively destructive" watchmaking. With a resolute stance that it is "not a brand for those seeking the mundane," they pursue an extreme beauty that is just shy of being too radical.

The collection arriving in Japan for the first time is "THE FASTBACK," announced in 2017, with three color variations.

The case is a masterful blend of cutting-edge materials such as forged carbon, anodized aluminum, titanium, and ceramic, finished with an edge design inspired by American muscle cars. A silicone or rubber strap ensures exceptional comfort. Confident in their quality, they have pursued visibility, finishing, movement reliability, and cost performance.

Gorilla, where the two designers who honed their careers at an established watch maison now challenge themselves further, driven by their creativity. This marks the arrival of a promising new brand.
