The special edition "FASTBACK GT LEGACY TOKYO" has been released in Japan first, limited to 250 pieces, from the new Swiss watch brand "Gorilla".

"Gorilla" is a watch brand founded by two former chief designers of Switzerland's top three luxury watch brands, with a concept of hyper-performance watches. In tribute to Tokyo, a city that continues to lead in cutting-edge car culture, the special edition "FASTBACK GT LEGACY TOKYO" has been released in Japan first, limited to 250 pieces.

The unique custom culture of powerful tuned cars and dress-up cars, exemplified by the Tokyo Auto Salon, and drifting, a car culture originating in Japan, have been broadcast to the world through films like "The Fast and the Furious: Tokyo Drift" and have become an official FIA competition. Gorilla has announced the special limited watch "FASTBACK GT LEGACY TOKYO" for 2020, in homage to Tokyo's continuous role in fostering this cutting-edge car culture. The ring-shaped central disc evokes the Japanese flag, and the "20" on the index has been specially rendered in gold as a commemorative model for 2020.

This new model was unveiled at Gorilla's first online charity event held on July 30, 2020. A portion of the proceeds from Japan will be donated to the "Protect Tokyo, COVID-19 Medical Support Donation" fund of the Tokyo Metropolitan Government Department of Health and Welfare, to aid in the prevention of novel coronavirus infections.
