Field Watches with Diverse Functions Adapted for Town Use

Five digital solar watches have been released, designed by Yosuke Kajiwara of LOWERCASE, who consults for numerous brands. He has adapted SEIKO's historical models for town use and optimized the specifications for field watches.

The three regular models feature designs inspired by two historical SEIKO models from the 1970s.

These are new-generation field watches that fuse a 20-bar water-resistant case with an anti-shock external protector structure with a solar digital movement that reproduces the digital font from the world's first 6-digit display watch.

Most of the push buttons are located on the left side of the case to prevent accidental operation while worn. The only button on the right side is positioned at the 4 o'clock mark, allowing for smooth use without hindering wrist movement.

The newly developed solar digital caliber S802 features a tap-activated backlight function that illuminates the EL light when the watch face (glass) is tapped, and a dual-time function capable of simultaneously displaying the time in 44 cities worldwide along with the local time. Visibility at night is excellent, making it perfect for active lifestyles that involve worldwide travel.

Exclusive models that evoke the unique worldview of each shop are also being released. The JOURNAL STANDARD model, paired with a military-inspired olive green nylon strap, and the URBAN RESEARCH model, presented in an all-black color scheme with the 20BAR (20 atmospheres) notation at the 6 o'clock position on the dial rendered in red to express classic sports watch details in a modern way. The JOURNAL STANDARD model is limited to 600 units, and the URBAN RESEARCH model to 300 units.
