With over 200 years of history, Girard-Perregaux continues to craft timepieces that impress with innovative technology and sophisticated design, remaining one of the few true manufactures. This time, they partnered with The Hour Glass, Asia's largest luxury watch retailer and a sponsor of the Fight Cancer Foundation, to present the "Red Ball."
The "Red Ball," marking its 20th anniversary this year, welcomed over 1,300 guests, including actress Deborah-Lee Furness and Hugh Jackman, a personal admirer of the Girard-Perregaux Vintage 1945, underscoring the significant interest in the Fight Cancer Foundation.
The excitement reached its peak when Hugh Jackman personally performed a special rendition of his acclaimed Broadway show, "Hugh Jackman – Back on Broadway."
The auction featured items such as the "Girard-Perregaux 1966 Full Calendar," a 40mm rose gold timepiece with a moon phase complication and an automatic movement. All proceeds from the event will be donated to the Fight Cancer Foundation, contributing to ongoing support for individuals battling leukemia and life-threatening cancers through treatment, research, and care programs.
